The router was easy to connect and has worked without problems. The Guest mode is nice in that it allows friends to have Internet access without access to my personal network.

Even though the customer service is horrible, the product is great. I have gotten both the E3000 and the AE1000 and they both do like it says. I am currently writing this with the help of both those devices. Take my advice and get them both. They do as they state.

Im still not sure how to work the media server, they advertise. but the router works perfectly. set up was a snap, I have my entire 4 computer, 2 game systems, and a printer all working, in about 20 min

The Linksys E3000 is an excellent product. It is very easy to set up with the set up key. The only issue is using both the easy key and the web setting.

When you buy a router of this caliber, you know what you're getting yourself into as far as setup goes. It took me about a half hour with setting it up and then configuring the software. It has a plethora of settings to dial this in however you wish. I like the dual-band feature, as I have set up separate wireless networks: one for the computers and iphones, and the other for online gaming. I performed a speedtest, and sure enough, I'm getting 29Mbps download from my ISP, and there is no bottleneck with the router like my old WRT54G was creating. I have not utilized the gigabit LAN yet, but i plan on in the future, and it's nice to have so i won't have to buy more hardware down the road. Overall, I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase.
