The Cisco-Linksys WRT 160N-RM router is easy to install and a no-brainer to use. It provides excellent wireless connectivity in every corner of our 2000 sq. ft. space and has required absolutely no attention since installation. It has really proven to be an affordable solution for our wireless routing needs.

Why oh why is it so hard for a router to give me what I want? I'm not doing anything crazy with this router. I have my BluRay player connected, my laptop and cell phone connected via wifi, and my xbox 360 wired to it.
I simply wanted to play Modern Warfare 2 on my Xbox 360 online. It kept saying my NAT was 'Strict'. For those familiar with NAT on Xbox Live...you know this basically means you can't join hardly any online games. I enabled uPnP, set my my Xbox 360 to have a static ip(outside of the router's DHCP range), set up DMZ for that ip address, forwarded all TCP and UDP ports for Xbox Live, and it STILL gave me a Strict NAT. It has the updated firmware. I even reset back to factory settings, and then it wouldn't even connect to my DSL modem and it had zero internet connectivity.
I plugged in my old Netgear Wireless-G router and oh, guess what! Open NAT! Don't buy this crap Linksys router. I had the WRT54G2 router and it worked fine with open NAT. This one sucked.

I have owned several Linksys routers and found them to be reliable. Support is always good. This one is good so far. Very easy to setup, no connectivity problems. I am very happy and it was a great price.

I received this router just days after purchasing it and I am very happy with the item. Although it is refurbished it appears brand new and work like a charm.
