This ad shows the usb modem with the device. I called amazon.com to verify. when I got the device, no modem. THIS AD IS DECEPTIVE!!!!

I bought this router over a month ago in America and I'm still yet to set it up as it asks for numbers such as APN, WAN, DIAL UP, USERNAME, PASSWORD etc that my United Kingdom USB T Mobile broadband won't release to me via customer service so now I am stuck with having bought this product and a £40 USB stick.
It would have made much more sense if the Aluratek 3G cellular router read all these figures automatically when you insert the USB broadband stick.
I was very excited when I saw this product so now I am extremely disappointed.
Find out if you can obtain all the figures you need from the service provider your expecting to use to supply your mobile broadband BEFORE YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Great product so far! I have my 3G access everywhere now and was setup within 10min. Anyone familiar with the web admin interfaces will feel comfortable with setting this router up.
Just make sure to check the 3G modem compatibility list before you buy!

I purchased this item so that other people can share my internet card. It works great. All I do is turn it on and put in my card and in seconds, any device can connect to the internet. Inital setup was easy, setp by step by step. You can set up a name and security settings for the network. If you want to connect an ethernet cable it has one in the back. I also like that is has a battery. Performance is not hindered when using the battery. This a great product! I have yet to test how it works on a road trip.

Hard to configure, software will not work with Mac. a better option is the Zoom brand RouterZoom 3G WiFi Router
