It briefly worked after initial installation though only at G speed even though router is N. But after the first reboot, the device LED failed to light up and it was no longer recognized by Windows. Sent it back to Belkin and they promptly sent a brand new replacement. No complaint there, but the new unit proceeded to do the exact same thing, so it now resides in the town dump. Well at least I have a functional USB base for my wireless mouse.
A lot of reviewers had great praise for this item while a few others had experiences similar to mine which makes me wonder if this could be an undocumented OS incompatibility (I'm running Windows 7 64-bit), but more likely it's defective hardware/lax QC.
Anyhow, Belkin service department seems to really have it together. Too bad this thing is such a lemon.

Not much bad to say about it. 5 star in my opinion. Does the job admirably and have never had a problem with it. Installing ti was a breeze and it works good. Picks up signals even when they are weak.

Good packaging.
Attractive and inconspicuous device.
Easy installation/setup:
Followed the packaged instructions step by step and everything works great on Windows Vista 64bit machine. Connection seems steady with Netgear wireless N router (the free rental router from comcast). Haven't tried online gaming but streaming video works great.
Can't speak to reliability yet after only a week of use.

My broadband internet conection is located in the basement but I have relocated the computer to the first floor of the house. I do not have to contend with a cord for the broadband or printer. Where I have located the computer on the first floor if I used a cord to connecting to the internet the cord would cross the door way presenting a tripping hazard.

I could not get this to work with a new Windows 7 Gateway computer, but I'm convinced it was a problem in the computer or operating system, rather than with the adapter. I actually tried three different wireless adapters, and even had one vendor try to implement it remotely, and none worked. Gateway denied all responsibility so I returned their computer.
